On a visit to Camp Okavango, guests were very lucky to be greeted in camp by a Western Banded Snake Eagle. This rare species is extremely elusive and is not often seen in the Okavango Delta.

While guests were enjoying their morning tea break at Maya Pan in Moremi Game Reserve, a young, badly-scarred hippo arrived at the water’s edge to join the other resident hippos.
